Welcome to Legit Lucknow. By accessing or using our website, services, and directory listing tools at legitlucknow.com (the "Platform"), you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions (the "Terms"). Please read these terms carefully. If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Platform.

1. Platform Scope and Service Offerings

Legit Lucknow operates as a digital marketing ecosystem and professional directory linking brands, cafés, local businesses, and social media content creators in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. Our services include:

  • Creator Roster Directory: Public profiles displaying creator demographics, locations, niches, and verified metrics.
  • Instagram Verified Insights: Meta API-integrated performance metrics (follower count, engagement rates, reach, impressions, and demographics).
  • Premium Visibility Boost: Paid ranking prioritizations in search listings.
  • Legit Card & Offer Redemptions: Local deals and discount programs redeemed at physical partner locations.
  • Campaign Management: Escrow-backed campaign briefs (barter/paid) between brands and creators.

2. Eligibility and Account Registration

  • Age Limit: You must be at least 18 years of age to register an account, publish a listing, or engage in campaign contracts on the Platform.
  • Verification & Accuracy: You agree to provide true, accurate, current, and complete registration details. Brands must supply valid business documentation (e.g. GST certificate, PAN cards) to verify their listings.
  • Account Security: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that misrepresent identity or violate security rules.

3. Platform Guidelines and Prohibited Activities

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited behaviors on the Platform:

  • Proving or posting false, misleading, defamatory, offensive, or infringing content.
  • Using automated software, spiders, robots, or scrapers to extract directory listings, profiles, metrics, or personal data from the Platform.
  • Using the Platform for fraudulent campaigns, scams, barter misrepresentations, or spamming.
  • Interfering with, disrupting, or attempting to compromise the security, integrity, or hosting infrastructure of the Platform (including Supabase, Cloudinary, and associated Cloudflare Page endpoints).

4. Specific Terms for Content Creators

  • Profile Control: You own your profile content. You have the right to hide contact details and edit visibility settings, or permanently delete your creator profile listing directly from the Creator Dashboard at any time.
  • Instagram & Meta Integration: Creators can connect their Instagram Creator/Business profile. By connecting, you grant us permission to query Meta's Graph APIs (under scopes including pages_show_list, pages_read_engagement, instagram_basic, and instagram_manage_insights). The fetched data (public metrics and demography) is displayed on your listing profile, and deeper stats (impressions, reach) are used internally to facilitate brand matchmaking. You can disconnect this integration in your dashboard at any time, which deletes your tokens from our databases.
  • Collaboration Deliverables: If you accept a campaign brief (paid or barter) on Legit Lucknow, you enter a binding contract with the business to provide the agreed social deliverables (Reels, Stories, posts) on the specified timeline. Repeated delays, failure to deliver, or sudden post-deletion may lead to negative verification points, suspension, or blacklisting.

5. Specific Terms for Brands & Businesses

  • Campaign Authenticity: Brands must declare clear deliverables, timelines, target niches, and budgets (barter or paid) for campaigns.
  • Razorpay Escrow Integration (Razorpay Route): For paid campaigns managed via the platform, compensation must be funded into our secure escrow holding system before the campaign starts. Funds are released to the creator's verified bank account only upon successful verification of the deliverables by both parties or in accordance with milestone dispute resolutions.
  • Treating Creators Fairly: Brands must coordinate with creators professionally and respect intellectual property rights. Legit Lucknow reserves the right to suspend brands violating creator agreements or failing to complete payouts.

6. Paid Features and Visibility Boost Packages

  • Subscription and Terms: Creators can purchase "Premium Visibility Boosts" to pin their profiles to higher ranking slots (Slots 1 to 100) for durations of 1, 3, 6, or 12 months.
  • Billing: Purchases are billed upfront including standard platform gateway charges (2% + GST). All payments are final, non-cancellable, and non-refundable once the boost period commences.

7. Communications Consent

By creating an account or providing your contact details on the Platform, you grant your explicit consent to be contacted by Legit Lucknow and our partner services for transactional, support, and promotional updates:

  • Channels: Verification OTPs, transaction alerts, updates, newsletters, and collaboration matches will be delivered via **emails (via Zoho ZeptoMail)**, **WhatsApp**, **Telegram**, and **direct voice calls**.
  • Opt-Out: You can manage communication preferences in your dashboard settings or request opt-out by notifying our support.

8. Intellectual Property

All site code, design elements, layouts, graphics, trademark, and proprietary software scripts (including `js/main.js`, custom visual animations, and database APIs) belong exclusively to Legit Lucknow. You may not duplicate, reverse-engineer, or use any portion of the platform without our written consent.

9. Limitation of Liability and Indemnification

  • Disclaimer: Legit Lucknow acts as a directory and facilitator. We are not liable for direct disputes, quality of creator deliverables, brand payments outside our escrow route, or any campaign failures. We do not guarantee business metrics or social media growth.
  • Indemnity: You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Legit Lucknow and its representatives from any legal claims, losses, liabilities, or damages arising out of your violation of these Terms, fraud, or infringement of third-party rights.

10. Governing Law and Legal Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India, including the IT Act, 2000, and the DPDP Act, 2023. Any legal disputes or claims arising out of the use of the Platform fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in **Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India**.

11. Grievance Redressal Mechanism

In compliance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the Grievance Redressal mechanism is managed by our Legal and Compliance Desk.   • Escalation Workflow: Complainants may submit tickets through the support dashboard. Tickets are verified, investigated, resolved, and documented by the Grievance Officer in compliance with statutory requirements.
